This is a thin mat, but it stays put and remains pretty cool even when a pet has been on it for a bit. It's definitely a unique shape and looks decent. Both the dog and cat have used it so far and seem to like it just fine. You can put it over a normal flat bed for some cooling and pack it away when not needed pretty easily.
Looks like you can just throw in the washer when needed, but so far the "liquid" test (I pour a small cup of water on beds to see if they absorb or shed) passed just fine, not much absorption if any, and the water wiped off just fine. Good product, will update with any issues.
